ONE OF THE FIVE PILLARS: THE ASR PRAYER

Asr is the of the five obligatory rituals in Islam. It is performed during the afternoon, between the time of Zuhr prayer and prior to sunset. The Asr prayer consists of four units (rak'ahs) and is an important moment for Muslims to connect with Allah for seeking His forgiveness. Muslims/Followers of Islam are obligated to perform Asr prayer i
